Amanda
Amanda is situated on the first floor of the main building. This romantic double room has a beautiful lake side view. Amanda has charming peasant rococo-style furniture that belonged to the parents of Ruustinna’s hostess, Heta’s father. The room is named after Amanda Sofia Perdén. She lived in the vicarage with her husband Anton Lilius since 1867.

Wilhelmina
Wilhelmina is located in the main building of the vicarage. The room is a spacious and homely family room, which comfortably fits a family or 3–4 individuals. The window offers a breathtaking view of Saarijärvi’s Papinniemi and the vicarage’s home bay.
The room is named after Wilhelmina Leskinen, who was also called Mimmi. She married Kristian Kekoni, who was known as a colorful character.

Alli
Alli is situated on the first floor of the main building with a beautiful view of Lake Saarijärvi. The room is decorated with inspiration from several decades starting from the 1950’s. It is named after Alli Marja Margareta Setälä. She lived in the vicarage with her husband Eero Johannes Lehtinen who later served as the bishop of Lapua Diocese.

Räsänen
Räsänen can be found in a separate building right next to the garden. This peaceful room has a private terrace with a lake view and it has it’s own eco toilet. The room is named after vicar Paavo Räsänen. The immediate proximity of nature and the garden symbolize his love for gardening, nature and fishing. He was the last vicar who lived in the official residence of the Tarvaala vicarage.

Elisabeth Suite
The suite is located in a separate building called Väentupa with its private entrance and porch. The room has its own toilet and separate bathroom. The room can also be converted into a triple room with an extra bed. The vicarage has been home for three Elisabeth’s over the centuries. Elisabeth Carbinar was the daughter of Johannis Carbonarius. The second Elisabeth was Elisabeth Argillander, the wife of Henrik Isaaci Silander and the third Elisabeth was their daughter Elisabeth Silander, who married Matthias Henrici Calonius.

Linta
Linta is a romantic, rustic and spacious room for two located in Väentupa- building. The rocking chair and wooden sofa were made by hand by the host Timo’s father The name of the room was chosen by Timo and it is hostes Heta’s parents’ nickname for their daughter. This is a very personal room for Heta and Timo as it reflects how they cherish the history of the old vicarage and take care of its future.

Vendla
Vendla is a bright and spacious corner room in the Väentupa- building. The beds in the room can be placed either together or separately as desired. The windows of the room showcase a view of the vicarage yard from two directions. The room is named after Vendla Erika Cautón, who lived in the vicarage from 1821 to 1827 and in 1838 as the spouses of chaplains Adam Melén and Gabriel Roschier.

Berta
This harmonious room for one can be found in the Väentupa- building. The room is embraced by an old linden tree in the yard. It was named after Berta Elisabeth Granholm who married Väinö Kauno Durchman in 1892 and thus became the matron of the Tarvaala Vicarage.

Ebba
The small double room Ebba is located in Ruustinna’s Väentupa- building. Ebba’s interior uses soft and natural colors, and the interior has a touch of old-time atmosphere. The room is named after Ebba Maria Boisman. She lived in the vicarage with her husband Jakobus Caroli Tuderus, who worked in Saarijärvi as a chaplain from 1761.
